"TMX" means a Translation Memory eXchange file format used to store bilingual segments for reuse in CAT tools (often referred to as translation memories or TMX translation memories).

"Services" means the features provided through the Platform, including TMX downloads, custom bilingual TMX, file conversion (e.g., PDF→Word), DTP support, QA workflows, and related tools.

"Account" means a registered profile created on TTMEM.com, including any settings, data, and access permissions.

These definitions are provided to improve clarity and do not limit the meaning of the Terms in other contexts.

1) Access to the Website and acceptable use

You may access TTMEM.com for personal use or internal professional use related to translation workflows (e.g., TMX translation memories, CAT tool projects, conversion services, QA workflows). You must not use the Website for illegal purposes or in a way that harms the platform, its users, or its reputation.

You agree not to submit, publish, or transmit any content that is offensive, abusive, defamatory, obscene, misleading, or otherwise inappropriate. You must not attempt to bypass security restrictions, abuse the platform features, or interfere with normal operation.

Advertising and promotion: Unauthorised advertising, spam, or promotional messages are prohibited (including profile messages and similar areas). If you need promotion options, use our official channel: Paid advertising.

One profile rule: Only one personal profile is allowed per person. You may maintain a separate business profile for a company/agency when applicable. Creating multiple profiles to bypass limitations or gain unfair advantages is prohibited.

4) Intellectual property

The Website, its tools, interface, design elements, logos, code, and editorial content are protected by intellectual property rights. You agree not to copy, reproduce, republish, transmit, distribute, modify, sell, or create derivative works from any Website content, in whole or in part, without prior written permission.

5) Communications, newsletters, and listings

By registering on the platform, you may receive service-related emails (account notices, transactional messages, and important platform updates). You may also receive newsletters and promotional communications depending on your settings.

By registering, you may be listed in our translator/agency database (where applicable). If you no longer want to be listed, you can update your profile visibility (when available) or request account deletion.
