Obywatele powinni aktywnie brać udział w planowaniu, wdrażaniu i realizacji projektu. | The project should commemorate the victims of Nazism or Stalinism, or of those who took important risks for rescuing people from deportation or extermination. The project should mobilise citizens, of all generations, with the aim of remembering those tragic events and the victims. For example, it could consist in bringing together people for a ceremony on a memorial site, on the occasion of an anniversary, or for the inauguration of a commemorative building. It could also aim at increasing the knowledge of individual destinies, through research or inquiries, or at developing documentation material about the victims. The project should clearly identify its target group and take necessary measures to ensure that the message is communicated effectively. Citizens should play an active role in the planning, implementation and follow up of the project. | | Projekt powinien angażować obywateli, a szczególnie młodych ludzi do głębokiej refleksji nad przyczynami i konsekwencjami nazizmu i/lub staliznizmu. Mógłby również obejmować konkretną grupę docelową która byłaby w stanie pełnić rolę multiplikatorów, jak eksperci, liderzy grup, decydenci, etc.- Rozpoczynając od rozważań nad tym, co aktualnie się wydarzyło, projekt powinien analizować dlaczego i w jaki sposób demokratyczne zasady i prawa człowieka zostały pogwałcone. To mogłoby doprowadzić do refleksji na temat stworzenia Unii Europejskiej , a także wartości chronionych poprzez europejski proces integracji. Wreszcie, dzięki lepszemu zrozumieniu korzeni integracji europejskiej i dzisiejszej Europy, projekt mógłby angażować w refleksję nad przyszłością Europy. Te przemyślenia mogą być popierane lub wspierane przez konkretne akcje w danym obszarze. Wreszcie projekt powinien być prowadzony w duchu pojednania, tolerancji i pluralizmu. Jednakże powinien zwracać szczególną uwagę na zaangażowanie różnorodnych społeczeństw obywatelskich, w szczególności z różnych grup wiekowych, różnych narodowości, kultur i religii. | The project should engage citizens, and especially young people, in a broad reflection about the causes and consequences of Nazism and/or Stalinism. It could also choose to target specific groups able to act as multipliers, like experts, group leaders, decision-makers, etc. -Starting from a reflection on what actually happened, the project should analyse why and how the democratic principles and Human Rights were violated. This could lead to a reflection about the reasons for creating the European Union, and about the values that are protected through the European integration process. Finally, thanks to a better understanding of the origins of European integration and of today’s Europe, the project could engage in a reflection about the future of Europe. This reflection may be accompanied or supported by concrete actions, in the field. Finally, the project should be carried out in a spirit of reconciliation, of tolerance and of pluralism. Therefore, it should pay particular attention to involving a variety of European citizens, notably citizens of different age groups, and of different national, cultural and religious background. |
