| The project should engage citizens, and especially young people, in a broad reflection about the causes and consequences of Nazism and/or Stalinism. It could also choose to target specific groups able to act as multipliers, like experts, group leaders, decision-makers, etc. -Starting from a reflection on what actually happened, the project should analyse why and how the democratic principles and Human Rights were violated. This could lead to a reflection about the reasons for creating the European Union, and about the values that are protected through the European integration process. Finally, thanks to a better understanding of the origins of European integration and of today’s Europe, the project could engage in a reflection about the future of Europe. This reflection may be accompanied or supported by concrete actions, in the field. Finally, the project should be carried out in a spirit of reconciliation, of tolerance and of pluralism. Therefore, it should pay particular attention to involving a variety of European citizens, notably citizens of different age groups, and of different national, cultural and religious background. | Projekt powinien angażować obywateli, a szczególnie młodych ludzi do głębokiej refleksji nad przyczynami i konsekwencjami nazizmu i/lub staliznizmu. Mógłby również obejmować konkretną grupę docelową która byłaby w stanie pełnić rolę multiplikatorów, jak eksperci, liderzy grup, decydenci, etc.- Rozpoczynając od rozważań nad tym, co aktualnie się wydarzyło, projekt powinien analizować dlaczego i w jaki sposób demokratyczne zasady i prawa człowieka zostały pogwałcone. | This Action provides funding for international curriculum development projects that involve short term transatlantic mobility not directly related to the award of a joint or dual/double degree. Consortia applying for such kind of project must be able to demonstrate a proven track record in transatlantic cooperation and exchanges including those funded under preceding EU-U.S. agreements. Support includes mobility stipends for students and faculty and flat rates/fixed amounts for the consortia institutions. The overall amount of funding on the EU side for a 4-year Excellence Mobility Project cannot exceed a maximum of EUR 180,000. | Działanie dotyczy finansowania międzynarodowych projektów typu curriculum development obejmujących krótkoterminową transatalntycką mobilność nie związaną bezpośrednio z uzyskaniem wspólnego/ podwójnego dyplomu. Konsorcja wnioskujące o taki rodzaj finansowania muszą być w stanie przedstawić udokumentowane osiągnięcia w zakresie współpracy transatlantyckiej i wymiany osobowej, w tym również dotyczące okresu poprzedzającego umowy UE-USA. Finansowanie obejmuje stypendia wyjazdowe dla studentów i wydziałów oraz ryczałt dla konsorcjów.
