ECDC is developing a communication platform tool, Epidemic Intelligence Information System (EPIS) which will allow risk assessment bodies to exchange non-structured and semi-structured information regarding current or emerging public health treats with a potential impact in the EU.Het ECDC werkt aan de ontwikkeling van een communicatieplatform, het EPIS (Epidemic Intelligence Information System), waarmee risicobeoordelingsorganen niet-gestructureerde en semigestructureerde informatie kunnen uitwisselen over bestaande of nieuwe bedreigingen die gevolgen voor de volksgezondheid in de EU kunnen hebben.
