The goal of the Traineeship Programme is to offer successful candidates an opportunity to improve their skills, to acquire practical knowledge in one of ECDC’s Units as well as the experience of working in an international environment.Het stageprogramma heeft tot doel succesvolle kandidaten de kans te bieden hun vaardigheden te verbeteren, praktische kennis te verwerven op een van de afdelingen van het ECDC en werkervaring op te doen in een internationale omgeving.
The traineeships are organised twice a year, each for a period of three to six months (deadline for applications on 30 January and 30 April).De stages worden tweemaal per jaar georganiseerd, telkens voor een periode van drie tot zes maanden (uiterste inschrijvingsdata 30 januari en 30 april).
The ECDC Traineeship Programme is open to students who are nationals of the Member States of the European Economic Area (the Member States of the European Union, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway) and of candidate countries.Het ECDC-stageprogramma staat open voor studenten die onderdaan zijn van een van de lidstaten van de Europese Economische Ruimte (de lidstaten van de Europese Unie, IJsland, Liechtenstein en Noorwegen) of van de kandidaat-lidstaten.
During the two-year training, the trainee shall complete two 12-month training rotations at two different training sites within European laboratories.De tweejarige opleiding omvat twee opleidingsperioden van 12 maanden die de deelnemers in twee verschillende Europese laboratoria doorlopen.
