This network would have the capability to connect epidemic intelligence and infectious disease surveillance (such as Tessy and TTT, both currently housed at ECDC) with meteorological variables, water quality records, air quality measures, remote sensing information, geology, etc. Linking this data will enable coordination between public health and environmental agencies.Dit netwerk moet de mogelijkheid bieden om systemen voor epidemiologische informatievergaring en surveillance van infectieziekten (zoals TESSy en TTT, beide ondergebracht in het ECDC) te koppelen aan meteorologische variabelen, gegevens over water- en luchtkwaliteit, informatievergaring op afstand, geologie, enz. Door deze gegevens met elkaar te verbinden wordt coördinatie tussen volksgezondheids- en milieuagentschappen mogelijk.
