Following that experience, a set of briefing sessions has been organized to provide the opportunity to MS representatives to be fully informed on the ECDC preparedness and response activities, with a particular focus on epidemic intelligence, the emergency operations centre (EOC), and the response activities, including the deployment of outbreak assistance teams.Na het proefproject werd een aantal briefings georganiseerd om de vertegenwoordigers van de lidstaten de gelegenheid te geven zich volledig op de hoogte te stellen van de paraatheid en het reactievermogen van het ECDC, met speciale aandacht voor epidemische informatievergaring, het crisisinterventiecentrum (EOC), en activiteiten als het inzetten van hulpteams bij de bestrijding van uitbraken.
Specifically, the briefings aim for the participant to:De briefings hebben vooral als doel om de deelnemers:
- An Internal Decision Room to be used upon an PHE by the Strategic Team and for briefings with the Director.- Een interne beslissingsruimte wordt gebruikt door het strategische team en voor briefings met de directeur.
- A Briefing Room that can be used for daily briefings with operational groups.- Een briefingruimte die kan worden gebruikt voor de dagelijkse briefings met de operationele groepen.
Daily epidemiological briefings are held in the EOC.Er worden dagelijks epidemiologische briefings georganiseerd in het EOC.
