Eurabic Translation, the cheating company, doesn't pay me over 450 USD
for correct translation/MTPE. The company is trying to defend itself
using ridiculous logic, They sent me an excel file containing my
supposed mistakes as MTPE is similiar to MT - which doesn't contain
any mistakes in translation. And they consider it a basis for not
paying over 450 USD and for immediately 'firing me' whereas in the
next mail they want me to work the same way.
I can have ca. 10 arguments against Nevien Shawqy from Eurabic Translation:
1. The job was MTPE and it's totally obvious the translations are similar to MT
2. He didn't say anything about 'forbidding MT' and it was there all the
time in the files
3. It's impossible to translate many of these segments differently.
4. They are described as cheats on many portals already
5. They behave totally illogically and first 'fire me' and in the next mail are
supposedly 'very grateful for cooperation' and want to give me next
jobs to continue cheating me ?!!
6. I work for other companies exactly the same way and they are all
very satisfied
7. Their main e-mail address info@eurabic-translation.com is not
functional - a coincidence?
8. They sent me some excel file that doesn't contain any mistakes and
think that you can treat it as a basis for not paying.
So it's all a ridiculous trap for translators and naive people. They
are already described in numerous places as non-payers.
