I performed a translation work for them in the technical field on March 2020. After submission they asked for a few corrections which I completed Immediately to their full satisfaction.Then the Coronavirus arrived to Israel and they disappeared.After a month the manager Sagi Anlen left me a message on watsapp saying that he didn't forget me.Then he disappeared again for about a month.Then he contacted me again in watsapp asking me to send him a special Invoice in English and write an address in Mexico.He told me that as a company abroad he didn't have to pay VAT.I followed his request. Later I found out that he is a company in Israel staying in Petah Tikva and needs to add VAT to the payment. Anyway, he disappeared again.I sent him mails and messages in watsapp with no reply from his side.Then I threatened him that if he doesn't pay me immediately I would start to report him all over the internet.Then he replied and promissed to pay me the next week. But he didn't.I sent him a message again and he replied that he and some delay and promissed to pay me the next week.But like before,he didn't pay . I continued to nag him and every time he reply with a different excuse and kept on promissing. Now it is already half a year after the submission of the translation, he avoids to reply to my returning emails and messages and just disappear. Later I found out that his company was banned in Proz.com long ago. Not only he lied to me about the VAT issue he also didn't pay me although I invested a lot of time and efforts to do my best in the translation. Consequently, I want to alert other translators, both individuals and agencies, to stay away from this guy and his translation agency.
