Marketplace Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

TTMEM Marketplace provides a platform where professional translators and language specialists can publish, discover and promote digital language resources, referred to as "Assets".

By using TTMEM Marketplace, you agree to these Marketplace Terms & Conditions in addition to the general TTMEM Terms of Service.

2. Eligibility

Only eligible TTMEM users may create a Marketplace Store. Certain Marketplace features require an active Full Membership.

Users are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and up to date.

3. Marketplace Role

TTMEM provides the Marketplace platform only.

TTMEM is not the seller of Marketplace Assets and does not become a party to transactions between Buyers and Sellers. All transactions are conducted directly between the Buyer and the Seller.

4. Seller Responsibilities

• Ensuring that all published information is accurate.
• Providing working payment or contact methods.
• Delivering purchased Assets when applicable.
• Responding to reasonable Buyer enquiries.
• Maintaining and updating published Assets.
• Respecting copyright, confidentiality and intellectual property rights.

5. Buyer Responsibilities

• Reviewing Asset descriptions before purchasing.
• Contacting Sellers when additional information is required.
• Respecting the license terms provided by the Seller.
• Not redistributing purchased Assets without permission.

6. Copyright & Intellectual Property

Sellers must own the rights to publish every Asset they offer. Publishing copyrighted, confidential or unauthorized material is strictly prohibited.

Buyers receive only the rights explicitly granted by the Seller. Unless otherwise stated, purchasing an Asset does not transfer copyright ownership.

7. Payments

Payments are handled directly between Buyers and Sellers using the payment or contact methods chosen by the Seller.

• TTMEM does not collect payments.
• TTMEM does not process transactions.
• TTMEM does not store payment information.
• TTMEM does not act as an escrow service.

8. Refund Policy

Since TTMEM does not process payments or deliver Assets, refund requests must be addressed directly to the Seller.

Each Seller may define their own refund policy where permitted by applicable law.

9. Asset Availability

Sellers may update or remove their Assets at any time. TTMEM cannot guarantee that an Asset will remain permanently available.

10. Marketplace Review

Stores and Assets may be reviewed before publication. TTMEM reserves the right to approve submissions, request modifications, reject submissions, suspend content or remove content that violates Marketplace policies.

Approval does not constitute a guarantee of quality, accuracy or fitness for any particular purpose.

11. Prohibited Content

• Copyrighted material without permission.
• Confidential client material.
• Malware or malicious software.
• Illegal content.
• Misleading or fraudulent listings.
• Spam.
• Offensive or abusive material.

12. Limitation of Liability

TTMEM provides Marketplace "as is".

TTMEM is not responsible for disputes between Buyers and Sellers, failed transactions, payment issues, product quality, delivery delays or compatibility of purchased Assets.

13. Account Suspension

TTMEM may temporarily or permanently suspend Marketplace access if these Terms or Marketplace Quality Standards are violated.

Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent removal of Stores or Assets.

14. Changes to these Terms

These Marketplace Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

Continued use of TTMEM Marketplace after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
