1. Building a Professional Marketplace

TTMEM Marketplace exists to help professional translators and language specialists discover, share and promote high-quality language resources.

Our review process is designed to encourage clarity, originality and professionalism while maintaining a trusted Marketplace for Buyers and Sellers.

2. Accepted Assets

The following types of Assets are generally welcome:

• Translation Memories (TM)
• Glossaries
• Termbases
• Style Guides
• CAT Tool Resources
• QA Checklists
• Templates
• Translation Workflows
• Language Datasets
• Educational Resources
• Productivity Resources

3. Asset Quality Expectations

Every published Asset should:

• Have a clear and descriptive title.
• Contain an accurate and honest description.
• Be placed in the correct category.
• Provide genuine value to translators and language professionals.
• Contain accurate, well-organized and professional content.
• Be complete and ready for use.

We encourage quality over quantity. A few excellent Assets are always preferable to many low-quality submissions.

4. Preview Images

Preview images are optional but strongly recommended.

A good preview image should:

• Represent the Asset accurately.
• Be clear and easy to read.
• Use professional graphics.
• Avoid misleading screenshots or promotional images.
• Help Buyers quickly understand what the Asset contains.

5. Store Information

Your Store should include:

• A professional Store name.
• An informative Store description.
• Accurate information about your work.
• Working external links where appropriate.

Your Store represents you professionally. Clear descriptions help Buyers understand your expertise and the type of Assets you publish.

6. Copyright & Ownership

Only publish Assets that you created yourself or that you are legally authorized to distribute.

Do not publish:

• Copyrighted material without permission.
• Confidential client content.
• Licensed resources that cannot legally be redistributed.
• Third-party databases or proprietary material.

7. AI-generated Content

AI-assisted resources are welcome when they provide genuine value to Buyers.

However, every Seller remains fully responsible for reviewing and verifying AI-generated content before publication.

The following may be rejected:

• Automatically generated content with little or no review.
• Misleading information.
• Duplicate Assets.
• Spam-like submissions.
• Very low-quality AI output.

8. Review Process

Every Store and Asset may be reviewed before publication.

Our review considers:

• Presentation quality.
• Description accuracy.
• Purchase method availability.
• Marketplace compliance.
• Overall usefulness.

TTMEM Staff may approve, request changes or reject submissions when necessary.

9. Reasons for Rejection

An Asset may be rejected if it includes:

• Copyright infringement.
• Confidential information.
• Broken purchase methods.
• Misleading descriptions.
• Spam.
• Duplicate content.
• Illegal or offensive material.
• Malicious software.
• Very poor presentation.

10. Seller Responsibilities

• Keep published information accurate and up to date.
• Maintain valid payment or contact methods.
• Provide customer support where appropriate.
• Respect copyright and intellectual property rights.
• Maintain the quality of published Assets.
• Comply with Marketplace Terms & Conditions.

11. Marketplace Integrity

To maintain a professional Marketplace, TTMEM reserves the right to:

• Request corrections.
• Temporarily hide Assets.
• Suspend Stores.
• Remove content that violates Marketplace policies.
• Take additional action when necessary to protect Buyers, Sellers and the Marketplace.
