ABOUT ME My name is Angel Luis Perez-Rosado, I am from Puerto Rico, USA and I am married and the father of two beautiful young daughters. I am a Christian, a Veteran, and a music lover. I translate and perform related works in the language pair of Spanish and English, both of which I have had a native fluency in for over 30 years. My translations are specialized in the medical and legal fields, but will occasionally translate any document or project to expand my areas of expertise in the areas of technical, procedural, literary and general translation fields. I am currently participating in a professional translators’ certification program and will be taking my certification test next September 2017. I have gathered a particular and varied set of skills which give me an edge in the translation of medical and legal documents; I have gained this experience by working in the Occupational medicine field and the Workers Compensation Law Administrative Court of Appeals which oversees these procedures. I have studies in the following areas: Computerized Information Systems (IT), Chaplaincy, Counseling, Computer Repairs and Networking. I also have Military training and experience in various technical areas as well as many pieces of training and certifications acquired during the last 20-years of government career. In my government experience, I have held many positions, with the most experience acquired as an Administrative Court Marshall. During the last seven years, I have held, performed, and kept two jobs at the same time with the additional one being Senior Administrative Officer, which makes me a direct assistant to the Administrative Judge and Director. I am currently a Deacon at my Church and work with the Administrative and Finance related duties; I also participate in the theater company and avidly study the scriptures. With this translation project and the ones translated by other linguists, TTMEM.com, would be able to market their services and products expanding into new markets.

Medical Report Translation Sample
Project description: I was assigned to translate various medical reports for a patient’s hospitalization record. The original was a scanned copy of the original document, which we converted into English while maintaining the format of the original. This document was used explicitly for outpatient consultation.

Project description: The project required the translation of four documents from the Sulphur Springs Independent School District. One of the papers is an Independent School District Improvement Plan, and the other three are School Campus Improvement Plans. The total word volume is over 25,000 words, and the documents all comply with the Texas Education Agency requirements.
