I am an English to Italian translator based in Bari, Italy, and I am seeking for an opportunity to bust my translator’s activity and to use my language skills within a professional business context where I can

successfully develop my passion for modern languages.

 

I have been dealing with general and technical texts related to electrical appliances (http://www.conrad.it/ce/); IT (product descriptions, marketing brochures, white papers

and e-learning materials for VMware, Dell, Lenovo, EMC2, Minolta, HP); video games (Fiesta Online, Shadowrun Return, Expeditions: Conquistador, Risen 3 etc.), apps and web contents; tourism and

hospitality (Best Western); marketing and advertising (above mentioned IT clients, Experian Footfall, Fieldwork); medical reports; personal documents and academic records; culture and literature.

 

I usually work with Trados Studio 2011, but I also own a licenced copy of Studio 2014. I am also interested in post-editing and proofreading tasks. Last November I obtained the SDL Post-Editing certification.
